About Me
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Certified Child and Adolescent Trauma Professional and have been practicing since 2017. I have a passion for working with teens, children, young adults and families. At the beginning of my career, I began working in county mental health supporting youth in the Katie A. (foster care youth) program. I then continued to develop my passion by working as a clinician and Mental Health Team Supervisor in a residential treatment program supporting children and teens that have experienced complex trauma and a variety of mental health concerns (PTSD, attachment, challenges, grief and loss, panic disorder, anxiety, depression, mood disorders and ADHD).

My passion for supporting those that have suffered from abrupt change, trauma, and loss continues in my practice where I use my training and expertise to not only help client’s on an individual level but also navigate complex systems that often present as roadblocks in the healing process. I have experience in working in the school system and developing Individualized Education Plans, facilitated and actively engaged in Child and Family Team meetings, and have extensive experience in navigating challenging family dynamics (including divorce and loss), the foster care system and adoption by providing Family Therapy and Parenting Coaching.
I believe that in order to create lasting change, clients need genuine connections and supports across all areas of their lives and I tailor my approach to meet the needs of the families I work with. I use a client-centered approach, utilize attachment theory and have training in many modalities including, trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), solution-focused and narrative therapy. While all these skills are important, I have found the most vital component to my work is that my client’s feel seen, heard and connected. I believe the best way to connect is to be authentic and genuine and I bring these qualities into my practice.

I look forward to being able to support and create meaningful change for you and your family.
